ABOUT US

With the blessings of Shri Thakorji and inspired by the Founder and Adhyaksh PPG (Param Pujya Goswami) Shri Dwarkeshlalji Mahoday (Jeje Shri), Vaishnav Sangh of Western Australia (VSWA) was founded in Perth approximately 21 years ago. VSWA has since been functional as a registered community organisation, fortunate to have had Jeje Shri’s presence and guidance unceasingly.

Perth was fortunate to be the first city in Australia to have established Vaishnav Sangh with regular satsang and utsavs being celebrated. Soon after, other cities in Australia followed suit including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra. With JeJeShri’s blessings in 2005 the first ever Bhagwat Saptah was held on the Australian continent in Perth.

WELCOME TO VSWA

Perth, capital of Western Australia, sits where the Swan River meets the Southwest Coast. It is also said to be one of the most isolated cities in the world. Due to its proximity with the Asian continent and India, Perth has a diverse population. Approximately 20 years ago, there was a growing Hindu population with migrants from all over India. With Aapshri’s blessings and guidance, the Vaishnav community has managed to keep not only our devotion alive but also our culture.

Since 2007, JejeShri has been visiting Perth on yearly basis and blessed us by celebrating various ustavs.

Pujya Jejeshri first arrived in Australia in 2002 and Vaishnavs were touched by his divine Vachnamrut (spiritual speech). Since then, Aapshri has been making annual visits to Australia for 20 years with the Vaishnavs of Perth eagerly awaiting Jejeshri’s arrival. During Jejeshri’s visits, Perth and other Australian cities experience a festival like atmosphere. Jejeshri has held spiritual discourses over various elements of Pushtimarg. He always gives Vachnamrut on various topics to connect with younger Vaishnavs as well. Cultural programs are also organised as well as musical nights.

Jejeshri also blesses devotees with BrahmaSambandh (Vaishnav’s devotional initiation).

WHAT WE DO

Pujya Jejeshri has established the deity form of Shri Thakorji in 2002 and the deity form of Shri Yamunaji and the deity form of Shri Mahaprabhuji in Perth.

  • Monthly Satsang:  on every 3rd Sunday of the month
